Matcheur 100 Y — Speed & Spin
€219.90
“Speed and spin, together.”
A forgiving 100 head with a geometry built for racquet-head speed and snapback: the modern spin profile — high launch, heavy action. At 69 RA — more controlled than an off-the-shelf “aero” — it delivers the response that tangential (brushing) contact demands: keep depth while brushing hard. For the heavy-topspin baseliner. On the Matcheur grid, the Y-axis is intensive spin.
Specs: 100 in² · 16×19 · 69 RA · 27″ · carbon frame · glossy black, no graphics.
Recommended setup: 300 g · 30.8 cm or 300 g · 32.0 cm.
Figures at stock length; each quarter-inch moves the swingweight by about 9 points.

The Matcheur foundation — 69 RA, firm not soft
Modern tennis is tangential — you brush the ball to create spin — and that calls for a frame with enough response to keep depth while generating action. 69 RA is exactly that level. Comfort doesn't come from a soft frame: it comes from the right setup (which lets you relax), the right string and a properly fitted handle.
Set up & matched to order
Raw frame (no damping tech), glossy black, no graphics — the only Matcheur marking sits on the buttcap trapdoor. Two sets of grommets included. Interchangeable 3D-printed handle, made to your hand — shape and size, re-sizable over time. A measured-spec certificate (weight, balance, swingweight, twistweight, recoilweight) ships with every racquet.
Options & customization
Grid setup and a handle made to your hand are included in the price. Two workshop finishes are ordered alongside the frame: stringing from €22.90 — string and labour included, your pick from the N°1 to N°7 range and the tension you want — and a leather grip at €14.90, fitted in your grip size before the racquet ships.
An off-grid setup, or matching two racquets, is workshop customization: €29.90 per racquet, €54.90 for a pair.
