Linear density 1.64 g/m, elongation 9.1% — medium elasticity, a slightly firm feel, good tension hold. Same chemistry as the N°5: what separates them is the shape, not the material. Every figure in the range is measured the same way: the numbers compare against each other.
Gauges & structure
Pentagonal section: five edges, a modern profile on classic chemistry. It bites the felt more than a round profile, all the more so in the thinner gauges. Gauges 1.20 / 1.25 / 1.30 mm.
